After losing one or both of their parents, African orphans are rediscovering life and building a better future through the academic support program at African Widow and Orphan Support.
Having an education should never feel out of reach. Unfortunately, many widows cannot afford to send their children to the necessary schools. Because of this, our volunteer ministry offers academic support to the African orphans and fatherless children of Nigeria so that they can return to their formal education. Since beginning our academic support program, we have managed to help thousands of children with their schooling.
Our program is designed to set children up for success. We provide everything from scholarships and school supplies to mentorships that will ensure orphaned children have access to a quality education.
Because of our organization and your support, we have managed to help thousands of God’s wounded children with their school fees. By offering them the opportunity to continue learning among their peers, we are giving African orphans a chance to build a successful future.
Our non-profit organization thrives on donations, which are directed toward the widows and orphans we help. If you are able, please make a donation to our cause. Donations can be made by check to AWOS and mailed to: AWOS, c/o Dr. Marvin W Heyboer, 5839 Lyn Haven Dr SE, Kentwood, MI 49512. Any bit helps.
